Boulder, Colorado TRAVEL GUIDE

Outfit details: TOP/ JEANS / SANDALS / SUNGLASSES / WATCH

Colorado has and will be always be one of my favorite places to visit. I’ve been coming here since I was born because my grandparents live here. Each year during the summer, and Christmas time, we would make our way up to Boulder for new adventures. I feel like I’m pretty qualified at this point to do a travel guide for my fellow friends who are wanting to visit.

THINGS TO DO:

PEARL STREET

-One of my absolute favorites places to go when I come to Boulder is walk along Pearl Street. Pearl Street is similar to an outside mall with tons of stores, restaurants, and interesting people on the street. If you come in the evening time, there are almost always street performances that are so fun to watch. You could spend hours walking along pearl street and visiting all of the unique stores they have to offer.

BOULDER DINNER THEATER

-While you’re in town, you should definitely visit the Boulder Dinner Theater. They always have one show going on and change shows periodically. It’s a fun environment where you can sit at tables, eat, and watch a musical or performance. This summer they had the Little Mermaid. In previous years, I’ve seen CATS, High School Musical 2, and more!

THE CREEK

-During the summer, the creek is a super fun hang-out spot. Everyone brings their tubes to float and swim in the creek. It’s super cold, but locals don’t mind it a bit.

VISIT COLORADO UNIVERSITY

-I absolutely love visiting different Universities when I’m in a new area. CU is just beautiful and it has a really special feel to it. You can walk around the University to see where all the college kids hang out.

PUTT-PUTT

-This has always been one of my favorite places to play putt-putt at. It’s so fun to play with others and has really unique course.

29th STREET

-If you’re more into “normal” stores then 29th street is for you. They have a Sephora, Bath&Body Works, Macy’s, an AMC movie theater and more.

DAY TRIPS TO TAKE:

TAKE A TRIP ON THE ROYAL GOURGE

-The Royal Gourge is a train you can take. It’s a really neat experience that takes you along the royal gourge. You can eat, sip tea and look out at the beautiful views.

THE STANLEY HOTEL

The Stanley Hotel is located near Estes Park is known for being haunted and has many stories to tell. You can take guided tours that take you through the hotel and let you experience the spookiness of it all. This was so neat and you can actually stay there if you want!

ESTES PARK

-Okay this one isn’t exactly in Boulder but, it’s just a little bit up the mountain. It’s such a fun little resort to go to and they have tons of activities for kids and adults. I went one year for a day camp where I got to create a bunch of things. It’s absolutely beautiful to see.

LAKE DILLON-

-Lake Dillon is located in Dillon, Colorado. It's a quaint town about 2 hours away from Boulder. It has the most beautiful scenic views. You can ride bikes, take a canoe ride in the lake and visit the shops in the town. This is where I am in all of the above pictures.

VISIT BLACKHAWK AND CENTRAL CITY

Blackhawk and Central City are two little casino towns located right next to each other. They're both such cute little towns with casinos and fun things to eat. It would be easy to spend a few hours or days here.

WHERE TO EAT:

RIO GRANDE

-The Rio Grande is a Tex-Mex restaurant located on Pearl Street. It’s my go-to and I have to have it every single time I’m in town. I’ve brought all my friends here because I just love it so much

HACIENDA COLORADO

-You must eat here if you come from the Denver Airport or going back to the airport. This place has amazing queso blanco and fajitas.

SNOOZE

Snooze is everyone's favorite breakfast spot located near Pearl Street with the best pancakes!

THE SINK The sink is known for it's burgers and pizza. A classic location where locals flock to.
